Patients came from more than 1,000 villages and towns. Around a fifth of outreach contact was screening — cervical cancer, eyes, blood pressure — rather than treatment.

Growth in groups is the slowest of Arpana's numbers, deliberately: a group is formed only when its members can run it. The step after 2020 came with two federations that now govern the whole network.

Radishes, cucumbers and seasonal vegetables from her own fields in Guwani earn ₹60,000-70,000 a year, sold through the farmer producer organisation. The income keeps her three daughters in school.

How these figures are counted.
Each programme — the hospital, Haryana rural development, the Himachal programme, the Delhi education centres and Arpana Trust — publishes its own audited annual report for the financial year April to March. Figures here are taken from the 2025-26 editions.
Where the consolidated Arpana Services report and a programme report differ (for example, total hospital patients), the programme report is used because it is closer to the source records. Cumulative figures (savings, groups, trees) are as of 31 March 2026. Nothing is projected or estimated.
