Governance
Two registered trusts, with headquarters in Madhuban. Leadership and trustees are named in each annual report.

- Registered as a society in 1963. Runs the education programme (Molarbund, Vasant Vihar) and the Himachal programme.
- Arpana Research & Charities Trust
- Runs Arpana Hospital and the Haryana rural development programme.

Financial reporting

- Programme accounts
- Hospital, Haryana, Himachal, education and Trust each report separately; consolidated in Arpana Services.
- Member funds
- SHG savings (₹84.95 crore, Haryana; ₹70.4 lakh, Himachal) and FPO capital belong to the members and are held by the groups, not by Arpana.
- Conflicts between reports
- Where programme and consolidated reports differ, the programme report is treated as authoritative and the difference is noted — never reconciled silently.

Policies

- Access to care
- No patient is turned away from Arpana Hospital for inability to pay. Every patient treated with respect and dignity, regardless of caste, creed or status.
- Non-discrimination
- Programmes serve people of all faiths and backgrounds; children of different faiths learn together at the Delhi centres.
- Community ownership
- Groups, federations and FPOs are governed by their members; Arpana facilitates and withdraws.
- Privacy in storytelling
- People are named only as they are named in Arpana's own published reports; no quotes are invented.
