Modern healthcare should not depend on where a person lives or what they can afford.
Heal is the oldest of Arpana's programmes and the one from which the others grew: a charitable hospital in Haryana, a medical and diagnostic centre in the Himalaya, and a year-round programme of camps that take medicine to villages that cannot reach it.
Where care happens
Three settings, one standard.
100-bed NABH-accredited charitable multi-specialty hospital. 88,483 patients, 2,398 surgeries and 82,171 diagnostic tests in 2025-26. No patient turned away for inability to pay.
Arpana Hospital →Daily outpatient care and diagnostics for hill communities; 2,848 patients treated in the year and seven health camps reaching 1,188 people in remote villages of Chamba.
Free consultations, free medicines and referral for surgery — general medicine, eyes, cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccination and a multi-specialty mega camp for 800 patients.
Women's health & prevention
2,590 women screened for cervical cancer, in their own villages.
Thirty-four cervical cancer camps this year, alongside HPV vaccination and health-awareness workshops run through the women's self-help groups. Women from 1,058 groups also acted on waterborne disease in 103 villages — resolving 610 water issues and helping identify 1,484 fever cases for testing.
