Jagdish, 75, from Kutail in Karnal district, was brought to Arpana Hospital with a heart attack and taken straight to the new cardiac catheterisation laboratory. A stent was placed. Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY covered the cost.

The cardiology department and its advanced cardiac catheterisation laboratory opened on 1 August 2025. Jagdish, 75, was one of the patients it was built for: a heart attack, a village half an hour away, and no time to reach a city hospital.
