Vanshika was born blind. On 12 November 2025 she received a donated cornea at Arpana Hospital. She is six years old.

The eye bank opened on 1 August 2025, alongside cardiology, oncology and the bronchoscopy unit — the largest expansion of clinical capability in the hospital's history.
On 12 November 2025 a donated cornea was transplanted into Vanshika's eye. She had been blind since birth. She is six years old.
